* Create a new thread with Instigator vs. Defender.
* Keep any mediations to that thread only until the conclusion of the war.

(Example:

* If we started the war it'd be [(BA)] Bloodmoon Alliance vs. [TOC] TheOtherClan.
* If they started the war, it'd be [TOC] TheOtherClan vs. [(BA)] Bloodmoon Alliance.)
